What is there to say about Bruges? Well to be honest with you, I kind of blacked out for the one night we were there which almost resulted in me missing the bus to Paris. Thank God for my lovely roommate at the time, Sydney who woke my ass up 10 minutes before we had to leave.
Because we were only there for a few hours, I didn’t get a chance to experience much of Bruges other than the lovely basement brewery/bar Le Trappiste. We did walk around the city for about 20 minutes, but to be honest with you, it looked a lot like most the cities we had already visited, which is why I think we were so inclined to head to the bar and just drink the night away. It was our 27th day of travel and I think we all needed to let loose a bit. We were also starting to realize that our trip was coming close to an end and we all started to get emotional.
I’m going to keep this short and sweet. Here are some pictures of the gorgeous city and the banging Belgium waffle I consumed:
This is where we ended up for the majority of our stay:
And this is me drunkenly mocking my two roommates @julianavac and @elizabethv._. They constantly bickered with each other, the way besties do, and I found it to be the most entertaining thing – to the point where @kristinaaa_mari, @lynni_lili, and I would grab a snack and just watch it all unfold. For the record, I love these girls and miss them all like you wouldn’t believe!
I’d like to go back to Belgium at some point to fully experience everything it has to offer, sober. Proost!
